Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

Voique does not require user accounts and does not collect personally identifiable information such as name or email.

However, limited data may be processed:

• Anonymous usage data
• Crash logs
• Transcripts of your notes, and with Voique Pro your audio recordings, sent for AI processing
• An anonymous device identifier and an anonymous purchase identifier, used to track your monthly processing minutes and to verify your subscription
• Your IP address, used briefly and in hashed form to prevent abuse of the service

2. Data Stored on Your Device

Your recordings, transcripts, summaries, and tasks are stored on your device only. There is no account, and Voique does not sync your notes to a server. They are included in your device backup.

Microphone access is requested only when you start a recording, and nothing is recorded until you tap the record button.

3. AI Processing

Before your first note is processed, Voique asks for your permission to use AI processing. If you decline, nothing is sent from your device. You can turn this permission off at any time in Settings.

• Free plan – speech is turned into text on your device using Apple's on-device speech recognition. Your audio never leaves your device.
• Voique Pro – your audio is sent securely to Voique's servers so it can be transcribed in the cloud.

In both cases, the transcript is sent securely to Voique's servers, which are hosted on Google Cloud (Firebase), and processed by OpenAI to create the summary, tasks, and follow-up drafts. Your data is processed only to generate your requested output, is not used by us to train models, and is not shared with third parties beyond what is necessary to provide this functionality.

• Voique's servers do not store your audio or transcripts; they exist only while a request is being handled.
• Our servers keep only your anonymous device identifier and how many minutes you have used in the current period.

OpenAI may retain submitted content for a limited period under its own API data policies, for example to monitor for abuse.

4. In-App Purchases

Voique offers auto-renewable subscriptions. Payments are handled by Apple.

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled
• You can manage subscriptions in App Store settings

We do not have access to your payment information.

5. Data Usage

We do not use your data for advertising or tracking purposes. Analytics events never contain the content of your notes.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Information may be shared only with the third-party service providers listed in this policy, and only to the extent necessary to provide their functionality.

7. Data Security

Your data is processed securely using industry-standard technologies.

8. Third-Party Services

Voique uses trusted third-party services to improve the app experience.

• Firebase Analytics – to understand app usage.
• Firebase Crashlytics – to detect and fix crashes.
• Firebase App Check – to protect the service from abuse.
• Google Cloud (Firebase) – to host the processing service and keep your monthly usage.
• OpenAI – to transcribe audio (Voique Pro) and to create summaries, tasks, and follow-ups.
• RevenueCat – to manage subscriptions and purchases.

These services only process the information necessary to provide their functionality.

9. Your Choices

• You can decline or turn off AI processing in Settings; Voique will not send your audio or transcripts.
• You can delete any note in the app, which removes its recording, transcript, summary, and tasks from your device. Settings also lets you delete all notes at once. Deleting the app removes all of your data stored on your device.

10. Children's Privacy
